With so many buzzwords floating around in the spirits industry, it can be hard to tell them apart, but at its heart, craft distilling isn’t complicated – it’s about passion, tradition, and the care that goes into every bottle.

It’s approachable and easy to drink; it varies in ABV; it’s made in almost every country in the world; it’s perfectly sipped neat or mixed into cocktails; and there is guaranteed to be a flavour profile for every one in this massive spirit category.

What began as lofty goals with a degree of romanticism has become a belief system that has been battle-tested and hard-worn over these past five years – and, most importantly, has been cemented into the core of our distillery. 

Situated on the rugged, wind-swept shores of Caithness, North Point Distillery occupies land previously defined by a far different purpose. Built for surveillance, not visitors, Forss Business Park was once a U.S. Navy Radio Station, characterised by the silence, secrets, and signals of the Cold War.
