The 2nd release of our Keepers’ Collection was created by our Co-founder, Struan. His love of Bourbon and Caithness come together in this 50% ABV New Make Spirit. 
 
Inspired by the Caithness legend, General Arthur St. Clair, who was born in Thurso and later became 9th President of the Continental Congress in America, was a whiskey pioneer who brought Scotch Whisky distilling techniques to America and played a key role in the earliest versions of American whiskey. 
 
Crafted from a mashbill of maize, wheat and malted barley, this New Make Spirit is unaged and proofed to 50%ABV. With sweet dough and stroopwafels on the nose, green apples and sweet candied citrus on the palate, and lasting brioche bread notes lingering on the end, this recreation of General Arthur St. Clair’s recipe is the perfect addition to any whisky/whiskey lover’s collection.
